Home Learning

All pupils to return to school on Monday 8th March 2021

Please continue with home learning as we have done since January - below are all details and links to access each year groups resources

Weekly work packs are delivered home to all children that are not currently in school. These packs need to be completed  by your child at home and returned to school when we come back.

Teachers are also doing  live sessions through teams which you will be sent a link to through the class dojo page.  If you have a computer, laptop, tablet or phone which has access to the internet then children can join in with the live lessons.  If you are having to work and therefore your child cannot use the equipment then we will be recording the lessons and putting them on to the website video page so that your child can catch up at a different time.

If your child is joining the teams links then please ensure they are fully dressed and appropriate behaviour is required.

(Please follow the remote learning policy sent to you via email)  If we feel that safeguarding rules are broken then we will disconnect you from the meeting and a member of SLT will contact you.

Children are expected to join live sessions and join in with their class teacher and if they are not able to then they must access the recorded lesson via the video page.

There may be some internet hiccups along the way but so far we have had some very positive feedback from parents and children who are enjoying interacting with their class teachers and friends.

In the work pack you will have received

  • A pencil
  • A book for recording their work
  • Tricky words list for your child’s phonic phase/phases
  • Worksheets for different lessons over the week
  • Extra worksheets which consolidate learning that has already been taught

Reading book swap times have been organised and the dates and times for each class will be sent to you via dojo and text.

The website has a variety of activities on the home learning page and links to many educational websites which can be used throughout the lockdown.  There are also different teaching videos on the website too. All this is under the children tab.

Thank you for all your support during this time.

Kind Regards

Miss Smith

Head teacher
