Computing

How is our Imperial Computing Curriculum developed?

Computing at Imperial is carefully planned using the Teach Computing scheme. This scheme has been created by subject experts, using the latest pedagogical research. We also refine this curriculum specifically to our cohort of children to ensure that it is appropriate and purposeful to them. We aim to provide all children with the skills to use Computing to enhance and develop their learning within a safe environment, helping them to understand how to use Computing safely and appropriately as a life skill. Children at Imperial need direct teaching of E-Safety to make them aware of the potential risks when using the internet and digital devices.

To learn more about our curriculum please look at the Computing overview below which breaks down what is taught in each term, children will learn this information within their weekly Computing session.

Please look out on WEDUC for updates in regards to online safety.
