Wednesday 17th June
Today is learning about related facts... can you use what you know to help you to solve other problems? That's what efficient mathematicians do!
In literacy this week we need you to use your reading skills to solve mysteries about The Great Fire of London.
There are 5 reading activities in this document so work through them one a day . Ask an adult to help you if you think the text is a bit tricky to read, the adult may read the text to you whilst you follow the words and listen carefully for the clues.
Record your answers in your workbook or on any scrap paper, then check if you got the right answers using the answer sheet.
Challenge! Can you record what you found by speaking into a video or you could use chatterkids? Post your videos on class dojo so we can see.
Good luck solving the mysteries!
Watch the short animation below.
Talk to a grown up about what you watched...
- What facts does it tell you that you didn't already know?
- What did you like about the animation?
- Was there anything you didn't like about the animation?
