Tuesday 5th May
Today's challenge is all about reading and sharing stories.
Please watch the link below of Mrs Malin sharing a story with you called 'Where's My Teddy' by Jez Alborou.
Listen carefully to the story and at the end, your Mummy, Daddy or another grown up might ask you some questions about what happened.
Can you draw a picture and write a sentence about your favourite part of the story? You might like to do this in your work book, or you could even print out the book review form I have also attached.
For those children who are at the mark making stage, perhaps an adult could write some key words from the story for the children to mark make or trace over.
- Can you tell a family member about your favourite book? Why is it your favourite? What happens in the story?
- Can you read a story to an adult or one of your siblings?
- Can you sit and listen to a story read by an adult or one of your siblings? Did you listen carefully enough to answer some questions at the end?
- Can you share a photograph on Class Dojo with you holding your favourite book and tell Miss Robinson why it is your favourite?
I hope you have a lovely day and enjoy sharing some stories with each other. Don't forget to share some pictures on Class Dojo for your friends to see!
