Struggling with books?
With schools and libraries unable to lend out books finding books to read is a big problem. I hope to give you some ideas to help you continue to read and share wonderful books. There are 2 types of book choices I would like you to be reading. The first and most important are books that you enjoy reading even if you need someone at home to read them to you. Listening to stories and information books is just as important as reading the book yourself. The other type of book that is important is a book that you can read yourself, check what level and/or colour your last school book was and see if you can find another to keep practising your reading skills.
Leicester libraries are offering ebooks, you will need to use your library card if you have one. If not then you can register for a 6 month temporary card. There is a kids section with some great titles. On the right hand side of the description there is the level of the book. Books within the 6-8 years will be suitable for anyone reading gold, white or lime books, levels 19 +. There are many great books that are useful for books below these levels. These books are for reading for pleasure, find books you enjoy to read or listen to.
